Mother's Day can be traced back to the 1600s
when the Greeks used to pay their respects to the Mother Goddess,
Cybil and Rhea. The first Mother's Day was observed 10 May
1908. On 19 May 1914, President Woodrow Wilson declared that
every second Sunday in May would be used to celebrate and honor
our mothers.
